Kavat Incubator Segment

The Kavat Incubator Segment to even create a core companion the Kavat, is highly annoying to attain, as the Segment requires 120k Alloy Plates, this is much too expensive and will cause at least 4 hours of grinding if you have boosters, full squad, Draco (Ceres), and a Hydroid and a Nekros. Which many players don't have time for nor will do as it's a little demoralizing to grind that much.

The alloy plates are the easy bit to attain.... don't know what you're complaining about, most players end up with an excess because of nothing to use them on.  If anything most people will say iit was the dna that is/was the issue, although that's been made considerably easier for 'new players' with the introduction of kavat dna alerts which reduces/removes the need to go about the scanning of kavats in the derelict like we had to do originally.

In all honesty if you're struggling to get 120k alloy plates, which like I say isn't hard, then maybe you're not ready for a kavat. 

Also not everything needs to be 'instant' in the game.

Yah. Plus those alerts are relatively uncommon, in my experience at least. 

 

At least the alloy plate you can passively pick up along the way with the hours of grinding you do for everything else. Or use extractors.
