Unable to skip Cinematic at beginning of Mission

At the start of a mission when going through the cinematic of your Orbiter landing on the planet, about 80% of the time (when I am not hosting the squad, never when I am) when I try to skip it, it doesn't work. I get the dialog that says I can skip, but it continues on through the cinematic anyway. This can be particularly egregious when playing with randoms who go on ahead and finish a quick mission, like a Capture, before I can even catch up. I actually like playing the game, and don't enjoy it when, by the time I can move, I just have to run off to extraction.

I think what’s happening is the host is skipping the cutscene before you get to that point, so the game thinks it’s already skipped on all instances.

Definitely seconding Das Muffinator here, I find this happens a lot when I'm playing with people who've got the Xbox One X or S and have skipped the cutscene before I've even got the chance to.
