I would be going to China in a few months and I want to ask, can I continue to us my account there or they have seperate servers there?

They have a completely separate internet there, you'll be lucky to get anything remotely familiar.

That's a good question, actually. I'm not quite sure about the status of Warframe's availability in China, now that the Chinese variant is effectively defunct.

To my knowledge, most Chinese players access the global Warframe build by using VPNs or other techniques to bypass the country's internet filters and firewalls.

 

From a practical standpoint, consider setting games aside while you're going to be in China. It'll be a great opportunity to learn about their unique current cultural and political situation. If you have access to your regular games, you might miss out on a lot of very important details about what China is like right now.

I heard they use VPN to access international Warframe servers, but they also have their own separate version of the game. There Umbra is called "Umbra Prime" and is a part of an always accessible founder pack.

VPN doesn't mean that the speed will be necessarily slowed down. It depends on the service (free or paid) that you use.

Well, "While residency inside Mainland China is not required to play Warframe China, players must be able to provide Chinese ID credentials (excluding Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR and Taiwan) in order to register for a ChangYou account to gain access to the game." straight from the wiki page.
