Can't equip both drill and cutter.

I want to put both Advance Nosam Cutter and Sunpoint Plasma Drill at the same time. It won't allow me to have both equipped at the same time. I don't want to switch every time i want to move from Fortuna to plains and back. Is there a work around for this bug?

Don't bother with switching, the plasma drill can mine sentirum and nyth.

I have a similar issue, except I simply can't equip the Sunpoint.  It always tells me that I have the Advanced Nosam equipped, even when my gear wheel is entirely empty.

I did manage to fix it eventually, I guess?  I managed to change to a different cutter once my gear wheel was entirely empty, and once I had done that it let me equip the Sunpoint no problem.

similar but diff. i cant replace cutter with drill its says you cant equip both... yeah i knew that i didnt know i couldnt replace

while still in gear wheel equip screen after reciveing the error above i removed it and it still gave me error until i exited out and back in

the gear items in circular motion is really annoying. why notmake it in hotkeys like 1-10 in the keyboard.

Same god damn issue. No cutter on my gear and it says it. i dont even get why i can't have both on.

To swap them, replace the one in the gear wheel with another item. Get out of arsenal. Get back in to arsenal and now replace the temporary item with the other drill/cutter. 

 

Annoying part is that after I swapped them, I lost everything in slots 13 onwards... Both times I swapped cutter and drill, that happened. 

Sticking with drill for now, but how annoying! I can have all the fishing spears but only one mining tool.

I had that issue until I found the workaround. Basically, reequip the nossam cutter then unequip it before adding the sunpoint drill. It should allow you to add it that way.

The options for that are there. Go into the configure keybinds to find it. You only get the first 10 or so slots, though, so anything after that you must use the gear wheel.
