TheOneWhoKnoxx Posted November 10, 2018 Share Posted November 10, 2018 (edited) The Wyrm specific mod Warrior and Dethcube specific mod Swift Deth and Taxon specific mod Retarget does the exact same thing as the new Assault Mode mod that any Sentinel can use. Hoping to signal boost this so that they take a look at Dethcube and Wyrm and Taxon preset mods because as it sits both only have 2 unique mods and Assault Mode now does the job of one of them. So now they only have one unique mod that actually does something unique each. No, there wasn't. Assault Mode expressly replaces the three sentinel mods that were identical: Retarget, Swift Deth, and Warrior. It doesn't replace Shade, which is still in the game. It doesn't replace Shade, which is still in the game. directly from patch notes: Quote New Sentinel “Assault Mode” Attack Precept Mod: In an effort to reduce the inventory duplication clutter that came with the individual Sentinel attack Precept Mods, Wyrm, Wyrm Prime, Carrier, Carrier Prime, Dethcube, Taxon, and the newest Oxylus now come with the “Assault Mode” Mod: “Sentinel will attack first visible enemy within an area” upon rechecking things, it seems you missed striker, and it seems that aside from that you are actually right - the only difference between those mods aside from the card image and in some cases - wording, is that striker had shorter range. seprent Posted November 16, 2018 Share Posted November 16, 2018 2 hours ago, Jmnx said: do they stack tho? if both the specific and the universal mod equipped? no it doesn't it just does the same thing when you try to put 2 mods of the same name type together jsut beeps red and nothing happens besides assault mode is amazing might i add yeah its a 30 meter universal range were the only sentinel that beats it is the dijira? aka sniper grineer sentinel haves a 70 meter range but the big thing i like about it is that it just attacks when it can it doesn't pause for abit when it reloads and stares at them or when it kills a enemy and just stop working for a minute till it remembers it has a gun it just shoots what it targets till 1: kills it 2: pushes it out of range then it just snaps to the next one and continues making really good for when you need some cover when your doing something that doesn't allow you to retaliate yourself or when you cant be bothered when grineer or corpus interrupt your fishing trip and you have no interest in attacking back since your trying to aim at a orokin servofish Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
