Unable To Extract From Orb Vallis Playing Solo

So I recently spent over an hour fishing out in the vallis solo and tried leaving back to Fortuna through the main elevator and it would not activate extraction. I tried going in and out of the elevator several times, unstucking, and then started and completed a bounty for it to still not let me extract unless I abandoned the mission.

I to just got this issue, spent more than half an hour farming for Solo Toroids and finally got them and when I tried to extract

it just would'nt let me, nothing I did helped, I finally did a mission and got killed for the final time and lost all the loot i gathered.

 

EDIT: Found that it still gave me the loot i had aquired, but the not being able to extract bug is still there.

I am having a similar issue, I go into the elevator to extract and will not load fortuna on a solo mining operation.

I'm not a 100% it's the same issue with you guys but give it a try. I was getting stuck in the elevator while entering into a city from an open world area (both from OV to Fortuna and PoE to Cetus), loading would take forever and I'd have to shut down the game manually. What worked for me was turning on multi-threaded rendering from launcher options then it loaded smoothly. Give it a try maybe it helps.
