Only the Host can use Naramon's Void Hunter ability

Naramon's Void Hunter focus ability does not appear to function (at least visually) when the player joins somebody else's squad. It does, however, function normally if the player in question is hosting the session they are a member of.
I discovered this bug in August when I picked up the Naramon focus school. I have tracked this bug back to October 2017, as seen in this forum post below:

This bug was tested post launch of Fortuna: Hotfix 24.0.2

In the above image, while in void mode the player is able to see a group of unalerted Grineer through a wall.

Image B: Player is not hosting

In the above image, while in void mode the player is unable to see a moa that is behind a wall.
