Speech Volume affects enemy cries

I guess it's not really a bug but I like to have all subcategories of the audio nearly muted except for the 'speech volume' to hear the storyline, especially now for fortuna. When I'm in Orb Vallis however the cries and sound effects from enemies are deafeningly loud, much louder than the story voices, which leads me to the conclusion that they are 1) bound to the 'speech volume' setting and 2) That they're by default much louder than the storyline speech.

It might just be a silly setting that I'm overlooking on my part, but if not I suggest that the cries and sound effects of enemies are bound to the 'sound effects volume' slider (which I thought they were in the first place), or even a dedicated slider.
