Cannot go into a melee only Sortie with Garuda's Talons

 I Cannot go into a melee only Sortie with Garuda's Talons. I just get the message that says "This mission requires a MELEE weapon to be equipped in your loadout.

While technically true, I think they should count as a viable melee weapon for melee only Sotries.

I agree with you.  Just tried to do the melee sortie today with Garuda and could not do it with her talons, I had to equip a melee.

Made me so sad, I just had her forma'd to where I wanted her and was really looking forward to trying her out in a sortie.

Hopefully this'll be fixed and we'll get to do it some other time.

I really think making garuda's talons a default melee weapon and not pseudo-exalted would be best.

Right now you also can't use Gladiator Mod set on the talons because they are being treated as an exalted weapon. They really aren't exalted, they are just a general claw weapon with high base stats.
