Focus school doesn't change when "changing loadout" in starchart

I played a mission with madurai. In the start chart I switched to another loadout that is supposed to have zenurik. In the mission, it's still madurai. I get out and check my arsenal and it's zenurik. So if i change my loadout in the star chart, it doesn't switch the focus school.

I've noticed this same thing. In fact, sometimes it doesn't show that it has changed the equipped items until I either enter a mission or go to the arsenal
