MOA Name not displaying properly.

I've noticed that despite guilding and naming my MOA companion, it still displays MOA as its name both in games and in menus. Is this intentional or are MOA named bugged? As Kavats and Kubrows have their names displayed normally. The MOAs name is also displayed properly in the list of equipped items in the squad bar.

I've gotten the same thing, and seen other players' gilded MOAs display as just 'MOA' in games. The only difference for me is in misson results, it displays my MOA's name, but in game while in a mission, it reads MOA over its head and when downed.

I've also found that it displays properly in the Dojo.

Came here to report this bug, can confirm my Moa shows up as "MOA" in the HUD.

 

EDIT: seems this is only an issue for clients, for host it works fine.

Having the same problem. All MOA pets are named MOA. Names are broken for sure.

Same here, in game they're all just named MOA despite being gilded and named.

Now we have to wait and see when they'll fix it. I was sad to see this, I raised the honor of Fortuna just not to leave her without a name.

Still broken.

It shows the name I put for it during Solo play, but if you load into a public Squad its bugged and only shows MOA.

I was so excited to show off Arthur MOAgan, but he just shows up as "MOA" during missions. 😞
