The spread of Hydroid's Tentacle Swarm is Broken

This is a fully charged tentacle swarm on Hydroid cast dead center on the pod in hydron.
Mobs could just jump in from above and start shooting, which I don't remember happening ever before.
Was the spawn count or spread nerfed ?! or is it a bug ?



As I said, this one was cast dead center, as you can see there is not a single tentacle near the pod and mobs could just jump in from above.

When the platform rises, if I cast a fully charged tentacle swarm again, they will spawn gathered near a random corner (within the bounds of the platform) and a few outside in the surrounding area.

This isn't how it used to work, dunno what's going on.
