Fortuna Orokin Vault... Something with railjack?

Could it be that in that vault there's something railjack related? I doubt DE will just hand it over and I doubt we already have it. So.. Any thoughts?

Its in the north i think. Its on the map tho, look for orokin site or something like that. Its not open and we cant do nothing there but i dont think they just put it there for nothing.

I don't see how it could be related to Railjack, but that can be related to The New War.

The Orokin Dig Site is in the South East of the Vallis. And, if we recall the Fortuna reveal at Tennocon, it's likely this Orokin relic is one of their orbital defense station/structures that crashed to the planet during the Old War or such.

When Fortuna was released and we found that spot,

i captured that point and made all 3 Bountys you get there in the hope that i would active the portal 😀

Railjack takes place out in space, so as mentioned already I can't really see how that would be relatable either. The New War is much more likely, if anything. It would be cool if the sentients visited key locations like this to either retreive or activate something of old to support them in the war. Last time I checked the location though it doesn't seem to be designed to be interacted with, but that can be changed in a future patch of course.

There are many interesting locations like this  in Orb Vallis, where the devs seem to have put too much effort into something if it wouldn't have a specific purpose later on. They did however cut out a bunch of things to be patched in later, so who knows.

Gotta das, awfully convienient that the Defense Grid Tower crashed meters away of a gate and the Corpus dont even Need to Build Two camps. Unlike with  the Tower, i can actually See them doing an Event or tac Alert there (the Corpus opened the gate, go Stop them)

Yep. This will probably be the same thing. It's just something that looks cool. I doubt it'll actually mean anything. DE's kinda bad at this sort of thing.

Well railjack is the name of the... Expansion (?) but its alsl the name lf the ship we're gonna use. Maybe there we will find the bp or a docked railjack. Thats what i've been thinking about at least

I didn't see anyone else throw out this idea, but Umbra Excalibur was in a vault/jail on the Moon.  Could this be the same thing?, another Umbra frame locked away.

I really want DE to make the map more intractable. Currently, it's wide as an ocean and deep as a puddle. Even when they expanded PoE with interiors there was no point in going inside. I hope they won't repeat this same mistake with the Orokin vault.

I suspect that the spaceport will play a roll in the Railjack unlock quest.  The vault being so close by could mean that inside is something relevent, like the whole ship which you need to get to the spaceport to innitially get into space, or a component you need in order to "jack" it away from Nef who's holding it in the port.  

Or it could just be set dressing.  Clemmed if I know where this story is going anymore.

anyone else noticed how the door has a slot for what seems to be a void key with an overlong "tail"? the place also has the same kind of monorail leading to it as does the bridge to the unum's tower in cetus.
