Missing 'mini game' UI when fishing

Since the last hotfix, the U.I mini game where you time your button press with the marked zone as you fish is totally missing from my game now. This makes using the shock spear for fishing impossible to do, other than through sheer blind luck. It used to work fine before the last two hotfixes were deployed however.

 

I've changed no U.I settings my end and fiddling with various things does not appear to bring it back up. The mining mini game U.I still appears as it should however, the issue is just on fishing for me personally.
