What is this weird door and what do I do with it? (Corpus Sedna)

It's not the elevator, because that's near the bottom. It seems to be about halfway up the wall inside the elevator, and I don't think it's connected to the secret area in this room, or at least I can't figure out how. I tried shooting at, stabbing, and interacting with the white light, but nothing. Is there something back there? When I tried to go through the hole in the elevator wall I got stuck and almost couldn't get back out, and I didn't see anything promising.

I do not think that is a door. Looks more like a corpus console. There are not any secret corpus doors that I know of so its probably a console.
