15 hours ago, Arunafeltz said:

"Well, sound off if anyone is experiencing palpitations, loss of balance, nausea and excessive sweating then." said the Corpus doctor. "Though I'd probably just brush it off as rail sickness."

He appeared to share a similar interest in the flowers as the Equinox. He stooped down and plucked three specimens, slipping them into a test tube he produced from his doctor's bag. As for the third, he held it closely to his face, squinting at its fragrant, accented petals. Then without further thought, popped it into his mouth.

With each flower he plucked, a quiet "ow" was heard seemingly from nowhere.

Putting it into his mouth, Zwei would find it to be uninteresting. Tasteless and with a smooth, like one would expect when tasting a flower.

Harker, who had been lurking at the edge of the party, ducked out of sight and changed into his Warframe form, Nidus Phryke, and withdrew his Scoliac whip. If he was going through a mystery door, he was certainly not going in his vulnerable human form. As soon as the change was complete,  he dashed through the door, moving as quickly as possible so the guards couldn't stop him. After the rather shaky travel, he looked about, rather curious about his surroundings. "Interesting," he said an a calm voice.

"Oh..." Kami rolled out of the way of the rushing Nidus. He promptly stopped, in front of her, and the Banshee felt like the newcomer had tried too hard to get through the gate they were all "politely" escorted through.

"Welcome to the afterlife... Or insanity... Either of those work." She greeted the Nidus.

No stranger to auditory hallucinations, the doctor returned to his feet and made a mental note of the flower he just ate. Flavourless, and probably without any noteworthy properties.

"Well then, Tenno. Any ideas on where to go from here?" he asked. "If I'm not seeing things, that tree about a half click away looks like a good start."

While the other travellers were trying to get their bearing, they would notice on of their companions not getting up. Rather, they stayed laying on the ground... well, rolling around in it.

"Ahah! Could've told us we're going to Earth!"

It has been some time since she such a big field of flowers, or fauna in general. The food she snuck along was neatly placed on a plate, which was sitting near the rolling Valkyr. She seemed really happy with the current events, or utterly oblivious to the gravity of the situation.

It was only at her outburst that the doctor remembered the Valkyr. A faint smirk crossed his face as he saw how evidently pleased she was. But was it really Earth? It had been several Earth-cycles since he last set foot upon its plains and grasslands, but nowhere upon it had felt as serene and empty as this.

Then there was the matter of the sun, or lack of it thereof.

He returned his attention to the Equinox, who at least appeared to be the more intellectual sort. Was she a woman of science, or the arts? But at the very least, all the Tenno he had met thus far were killers, and present company was probably no exception.

"Well, let's wait for our friend here to finish that platter of fried skate. If I'm not mistaken, we should also be expecting some latecomers as well."

And then, as the group would move toward the destined tree, they could all hear the sound of something cutting the air around them and out of nowhere, Custos would land flat faced on the ground in front of them, creating a 5cm deep hole around his body.

"This could have gone worse, atleast i can still look..."

As he spoke the blue man would roll to face the sky, fInding to his dismay the lack of sun around them.

"...Why is it always the sun?"

Harker drifted somewhat away from the group. Since there seemed to be no immediate danger, he decided to make use of the open space around him to practice with his whip. As was the case nowadays, most whip users favored the Burning Wasp stance, citing it's greater range as to justify it. But Harker was a user of the Coiling Viper Stance, which favored closer range attacks with greater mobility. He began with the first combo, Whistling Wind. He swung left, then right, then left again, the bone blade at the tip of his Scoliac ripping through the air, finalizing the combo with a quick spin followed by a powerful lash forwards. He then switched to the other combo, Tumbling King. It began much the same way as Whistling Wind, with a trio of swipes in the order of left, right, left.  However, the third strike was angled slightly upwards. He then leaped forwards while flipping, the tip of his whip tracing a veritable globe of movement around him, finishing off with a forwards roll with the tip orbiting around him.

Rolling around some more, the Valkyr finally spread out like a starfish in the tall vegetation, looking up to see...?

"Um... where's the sun?"

It was now that it dawned upon her that it may not be Earth that they have found themselves on. It wasn't quite shock, just confusion, and curiosity. She checked around for the the others, still there. Well, that plate of fried skate seems a little lonely.

"This is weird... isn't this weird? *nom* I think thishish weirdh... shouldn'th we-*gulp*... move on?"

"Good thing I made a rucksack!", I said to myself. I had stashed some food in it, enough to last a few days for one person.
As I exited the portal-thingy from the other side, I noticed all the other people out and about the new area.
As vibrant colors of fauna invaded my frame's optics, I decided it might be okay to breathe the atmosphere. I removed my helmet.
*inhales* "Aaaahhh~! Definitely better than my ship's atmospheric systems. Wished that it could have survived the landing though!"

I noticed a tree to my right, though. Clearly far away, but the only thing standing out on the fields of flowers.
"Okay, don't mind me guys! I'll just go out to that tree for some wood and shade. The sun can get quite scorchy after-"
I paused, noticing the lack of a sun.
"...after noon?"
Where's the sun?, I thought. Then brushed it away.
I decided to walk towards the tree. There's no rush anyways.

Kami observed the newcomer and droned in an expressionless manner:"Ah, more brainghosts."

She kept watch of the Vauban, as the engineer headed for the tree, and called out after a moment: "Hey, if there's a pitfall, and you die, please tell me, so I'd know if death is still a real thing..."

"Umm, ok?" I replied back to the Banshee.
As I walked, I got my Spectra from my holster as I plan to cut the tree.
Maybe I'll have a use for the bark, so I thought.
...
While I'm walking, I'd better test this one more time...
Spectra held in my hand, I was about to test it.
Nice! Now to...
*click*
...huh?
*click* *click*
Why isn't it working!? I just checked before I went in!
Ah, biscuits! I'd better check on my other tools...
