Handspring randomly stops working

I’m a heavy end-user of “Handspring”.
And I have it on all of my frames (at least the ones without any training-wheels).

I mostly (99,9%) play as client (because I know I’m a bad host!).
And this mod has functioned flawlessly for me, for years.
(It has gotten me out of so much trouble, you wouldn't believe me ; )
That’s is, until it started to malfunction a couple of weeks ago on certain mission types:

Its most noticeable on PoE.
Whatever frame I equip, whatever slot I choose (exilus or regular) and whatever mission I play (even Eidolon Hunt!) handspring simply doesn’t function anymore.
This also happens in Arbitrations.

Btw, for me it’s NOT randomly!
There is no error margin, Handspring 100% flakes out!

In other game-modes and areas "Handspring" functions just fine.
But PoE and Arbitrations obviously have trouble dealing with this lifesaver mod!

Hope DE fixes it soon, because I kinda rely on its effect.
Also Primed Surefooted won’t fit on any of my builds …

I was hoping this issue was solved by now, but Handspring still doesn’t function on PoE!?

It’s so strange, I can run all other content with the same build, but once I enter PoE this mod might as well be unequipped…

This week I went after the revenant parts on PoE by playing several Bounties.
And sadly this “shortcoming” became very apparent once again.

Btw, for me it’s NOT randomly!
There is no error margin, Handspring 100% flakes out!
Never experienced a quick recovery on the Plains of Eidolon since the date of the initial post.

I didn’t do as much testing as before, but I tried putting the mod in several different other slots with each run, which made no difference.

Haven’t tried Eidolon Hunt, or Arbitrations yet.
I might give that a try and report back.

I can confirm:
This issue is related to host/client setup on PoE (and Arbitrations).

This weekend I upgraded my internet from ADSL to Cable.
A very noticeable difference, especially in ping.
I went from 22 to 4 ms when speed-testing locally.

My improved connectivity, combined with a pretty solid fps makes me a good host.
And thus I have played PoE a lot more as host for complete random parties.
Here are my experiences on PoE:

-As Host Handspring always function.

-As Client Handspring flakes out 100% of the time.
Even Nova’s passive won’t function…
And it doesn't matter how good (low) a ping I get from the host.
Or how good his/her fps is.

So strange, because in the rest of the content Handspring just functions perfectly.
Even as a client with a high ping and a lagging host.
Just not on PoE?

I have this issue on Xbox right now. I have no clue if being host/client has any sort of effect, but it legitimately worked 100% of the time before the latest patch we received. No one has replied to my thread on the Xbox bug forum and some people in region chat seem to have no issues at all, so I really don't understand what's going on. It's definitely not exclusive to the Plains! I rarely ever even go there anymore. I guess I have to switch to Constitution or something for now.
