kubrodons immune to tranq guns

tranq guns dont do anything to kubrodons, and ivaras sleep dart tranqs them only for a second or two, barely enough time for you to interact with them for retrieval

First I thougth that I had to hit the Kubrodon more than once, but after hitting the same one three times still nothing happened.

I was told in the fortuna bug forums that you need to hit them twice with the tranq gun or ivaras ability gives you 4 seconds, if its not working for you you can reply to my thread over there and let them know its not working

 

i had the same experience though, i nailed one sucker 3 times with the tranq gun and nothing

Apparently Kubrodons shows some resistance towards your tranq rifle's shots. 4/5 Kubrodons I've hunted today took me around 3 shots. The first took me 2. I'm not sure its a bug or not whether this was intended or not. Also take note: They will attempt to knock you down before running off.

if they are gonna make creatures resistant to tranq surely they should add a stronger tranq gun - like the same thing with Cetus's spears
