please to some basic research on why planets have the conditions they do.

dumping coolant on an atmosphere 92x denser than earths and is 98% CO2 makes the Orikin and anyone else working on terra forming look dumb as a door nail.

Coulda maybe thought up something a little more in reason.

its all space magic i get that but sheesh.

Most people won't even realize this honestly. Even after you post I don't know why it would make them look dumb because I'm just as, if not more ignorant than DE on the matter.

But also like you said... Space Magic. The Orokin are were quite good at that.

Warframe can actually fly by aiming in the sky with a totally normal rifle in their hand, so the logic about the way the terraformed Venus shouldn't surprise you...

But ignore lets ignore that. When you know about the proprieties of the Void in Warframe and that Orokins were able to control it this open up a lot theories to the way they terraformed Venus in a cold planet.
With the use of giant Void portals, they could totally replace the Venus atmosphere with another gas that reduce the incoming sun radiation. The coolant towers seems to grow deep into the ground so maybe the gold roots catch the heat and send it somewhere else via another Void portal placed into the tower and use it to produce energy ?

It doesn't fit with the physic we know about, but the Void may change that a lot and this terrafoming is far from being the least logical thing in Warframe.

With unlimited Energy, you can entirely remake almost everything with enouth time...

Inefficient or not (specially energy wasting to do such a thing on Venus instead of just terraforming other planets) doesnt matter here, they use the energy directly out of the void. Which gives them unlimited energy that can be used for whatever they want to do with it (and yet i still think maybe only as "unlimited" as the universe, but for our life spans surely more then enouth lol)

AdunSaveMe?! Isnt it Adun Toridas ? (Adun hide you?) Could have written your name in Khalani sure would be nice to see

Back to topic, what exactly do you (the topic poster) want to accomplish from stating this "missing research" of DE? That they next time better ask a scientist about something new like this? Tell them that about the rubico prime and the mysterious muzzleflash coming out underneath the part some think is the barrel...

Or viral damage not killing a target within a second and beeing able to kill machines (computer "viral" damage i guess? Corpus got plastic windows, guess they are that money greedy they even saved on a firewall on their war proxys right?)

Sound in Space if you fire your Ark Wing guns?

Mankind not wiping each other out before they actually travel to a different planet alive?

Trump becoming president of the United states! Wait, no that happened...

Ahm, were was i? Mankind "evolving" into super greedy beeings (Orokin) .... well thats, kinda realistic looking at todays mankind it will become the Orokin for sure if they go on like this...

No matter, i think sometimes taking science in games to serious will only give you headaches, and you become the worst possible type of gamer:

Me, the grumpy guy rarely happy with anything always finding something to complain about. Dont be that.... me, dont be me yeah thats right

Just enjoy the game!

Dont you do that in real life? I do that every day and i live on the 6th floor, works everytime. No i actually should try that curious what happens)

I dislike that Venus was wasted as an Iceworld...

Of all the planets it was DE's chance to make a true hellscape. A world so hostile that Warframes would have to be cautious.

It could have been a Warframe Mustafar!!

But since DE's old missions tilesets were ice...(complete with Jupiter in the skybox..........) they made Venus an iceworld.

Ugh...impo Fortuna needed to be on Neptune. The same planet as The Index (which could also be why Nef Anyo is drilling the denizens so hard to turn a profit).

But nope, the literal hellworld of the solar system is frozen. I wish DE had swallowed the bitter pill & changed course & made it Neptune or Pluto.

So is Phobos, Europa, various Saturn nodes (presumed to be moons), Neptune, Pluto, & Eris.

Mercury, Ceres, Saturn (moons...), & Sedna are all asteroid/mining camp/barren rocks apparently.

Uranus, Mars, Jupiter, & Earth are the only somewhat unique planets/locations.

I guess when we get to Pluto or Neptune it'll be a Fiery Hellscape/Desert world because the Orokin wanted to "heat it up" so they just burned a lot of coal & left a giant space heater on.

Pardon my venom on this...

I love the art of Fortuna, I am excited to play it. But I strongly disagree with it being on Venus. But this is DE's lore...not mine. I have to respect their decision on some level.

Personally...

I think DE made it frozen because if they didn't they need to do a Venus 2.0 and they didn't want to make fire themed maps for Venus.

Why? I don't know. This was the PERFECT opportunity to make a fiery, acidic, & brutal hellscape & no one would have complained about the tileset retcon.

Theories hold that Venus was originally Earth-like more or less, but proximity to the sun thickened the atmosphere and eventually boiled away the seas, getting what we have now.  Theoretically, if you stripped off the excess atmosphere, you could get it earth like again.  Or cold and icy with even more effort.  I guess maybe they just yanked out all that excess CO2 and dumped it into the atmospheres of other worlds?

It's all magical science really though.  Fun to think about, but hardly realistic.

You know it's a special coolant that carries away heat by evaporating into the void, right?

Yeh sure, but any civilization with artificial gravity is god. Since they terraformed the outer planets to aprox1g, they had it figured out. Given that the rest of venus looks about as nasty as winter earth, Orb Valis doesn’t even make sense

It already looks like rhey to stripped the atmosphere to 1atm and most of co2.  Coolant is needed why?

Even most sci-fi writers try for “not silly”.

DE could have simply put fortuna on Europa and it would have made more sense.

There is by the way still the chance they make a Desert world, maybe a vulcanic hellhole world, maybe a jungle world. Maybe even.... with the expansion to the Tau system.... a purely robotic/sentient open world...

Just curious about what they will do about the open space world to make it actually interresting enouth. Space is usually.... pretty empty if you arent close to planets, moons, asteroid fields ect. So how to fill this space up with something interresting? From one Railjack jump to the other zone. Asteroid fields (bigger and smaller ones) filled with sometimes some ship wreckages. Some Space Wreckage zone to explore full of ancient Orokin ships left over after a giant battle in the old war and a lot of sentients maybe left in between? Soon Infested fields with living Leviathan big ships to explore maybe like a fleet of Infested ships? Defense missions with your Railjack small as escorting colonists and grineer deseurters to safety going up as big as defending stations against bigger enemy grinner and corpus ships? Or---.... lets just say im full of ideas. DE surely is too. Still hope they maybe take a short look over this post and maybe i for once can inspire them a little bit, unlike they usually us always with the storys of the game. (Nah, think they are to busy)

But as you say, they had their choice of locations. The gas planets are a bit goofy too because they are... gas planets and when go get down to amything solid.. if you can call it that it’s 5 to 7x g and the “atmosphere” is even more insanely dense.

I guess you're not a fan of Halo, Star Wars, Star Trek, Mass Effect, StarCraft, Half Life, Everspace, etc, etc,.

You know, at one point the atmosphere on Earth had a lot of carbon dioxide and methane and very very little oxygen?

Then this little green thing came along and changed all of that.

Right now there's even a pretty funky way to convert carbon dioxide and sea into gasoline. It's just super energy intensive. You think that maybe an advanced civilisation could pull it off much faster than we currently can?

Just dump a few chunks of space ice for the water you need, toss a bit of a hyperreflective material on the planet surface, or even in space to promote cooling by reflecting the incoming IR radiation. Have towers that use a peltier system to drop the temperature of some coolant you can circulate, and pump the excess heat into the core, or even use a laser or a giant satellite dish type of arrangement to pump the energy off planet.

Also, fun fact... One of the planets in Tau Ceti is just a wee bit warm for us. Being able to test out ways to make it habitable would be a good idea.

I'd like to believe that Fortuna was meant to be on Neptune, but someone higher up pushed to have it moved to Venus. Someone figured they would make more $$ (and increase appeal) with new players, if it wasn't so far into the Node system.

Probably, but the made one painfully contrived rational for fortuna.
