Cave hotspots?

Do they even exist? I have done hours of fishing in different caves, caught hundreds of Mirewinders, but have never once seen a single hotspot. I have wasted a bunch of Charamote bait in these caves without ever seeing a single one and yes I'm baiting in warm weather. Wtf???

Some times they can be hard to see. 

I have a favorite cave for catching these fish as it almost always has a Hotspot. Try looking in the bottom right corner of the map, near spaceport.

There's 3 fishing caves near the Spaceport. Which one are you talking about?

The one on the southeast corner. Near the crashed satalite.

The best way to do this is to find the cave and wait there. There were times the Hotspot was gone, I went out to find another cave, saw that the graphics made so the outside was bright white, came back in and the hotspot spawned again.

And its easy to see it.

You can check the back too, there can be one there, but I prefer this one, at the entrance.

Are there any specific graphics settings you change to keep from going blind in those bright ass caves?

Thanks guys, I tried the far bottom right cave that's fully flooded, baited during warm weather, caught more than a dozen of these babies in 5 minutes!

Caught all mine in the first cave on the top right of the temple of profit.

Remember to equip the bait.
