How to access the Quills?

How do you access the quills in Cetus? 

I have completed the second dream and war within quests. I have a couple of focus lenses yet when I get to the cave/dungeon/secret hideout the door does not open.

I stand there and watch other players coming and going from their lair but am not granted access. What am I missing or doing wrong?

Did you try Operator? Did you finish Saya's Vigil?

No and yes. Do you need to be in operator mode to enter?

Facepalm....Quills is an operator only NPC.

Not operator only. You can enter if you have Umbra equiped.

As i don't use that crapy frame i don't see why i would go in there with umbra. But yea i gues you can.
