Titania+Aviator mod and QoL suggestion

As most Titania users know, Titania lives and dies in her Razorwing, this is not a option but a way of life.

Aviator mod: Reduced damage by 40% while airborne.

Titania at base level 0f 30 has 300 hp, 300 shield, 65 armor and 150 energy.

Titania is a very frail frame. Her ability to CC, Razorwing's passive 50% evasion and Razorflies(I will address the Razorflies later on in the QoL section) on paper is suppose to help with this issue but on paper and in practice sometimes don't line up. At some point enemy can and will shot one shot Titania and leaving it up to a coin toss on if they hit or miss is not fun for the players. Her CC ability helps but there are times when it can't. Like in arbitration, the drones negates her CC and then there are the Bombards. Bombards rockets homes in on it's target. You can't hide behind a wall since it has a big area of effect and out running it is not an option, even with Titania augment for Razorwing, Razorwing Blitzs it is impossible. Even with 200% power strength, a fully stacked Razorwing Blitzs buff, and Volt speed buff, that rocket will follow you to the ends of the earth and solar system!

Aviator is a great mod that can supplement Titania survival. The mod synergy lines up and fits perfectly since being in Razorwing is being "airborne". A great example of a Frame ability and mod synergy is Nekros. Nekros is very much akin to Titania in terms of stats (300 hp, 270 shield, 65 armor, and 150 energy). In terms of survival, Nekros has many option and mod synergy then Titania. Nekros's Desecrate ability along with the augment for it Despoil has the most synergy with many mods.

Example: Despoil + Equilibrium

Despoil: Desecrate no longer consume energy. but consumes 10 health per corpse instead.

Equilibrium: Health pickups gain additional Energy. Energy pickups gain additional Health.

With these two mods, Nekros no longer has energy problem since losing health and picking up health orbs made from Desecrate gives energy and passively heal himself when using his other ability to burn energy then picking up a energy orb for health,

Another example of Mod Synergy with Nekros is with Health Conversion.

Health Conversion: Health orbs grants 450 armor, stacking up to 3 times. Taking damage will consume a stack after 3s. (Due note that at 900 armor, inflicted damage is reduced to 25% of the original damage. 900 armor is just 2 stacks of Health Conversion!)

Despoil + Health Conversion: When Nekros make health orbs with Desecrate, the Despoil use Nekros's Health as a cost and Health Conversion uses the Health Orb to give Nekros more armor to survive.We can then triple dip with Equilibrium too.

Despoil + Health Conversion + Equilibrium: Desecrate makes health/energy orb, Despoil use Nekros Health as a cost, Health orbs are picked up to give energy with Equilibrium and Armor with Health Conversion. Energy Orb when picked up gives back Health with Equilibrium.

With Mod synergy with Frame ability, we can see how a frail frame like Nekros can become over come his frailness and strive. Aviator with Titania's Razorwing may pale in comparison to Nekros synergy but that synergy with Aviator is much over looked and would be much appreciated if made possible.

 

Quality of Life suggestions:

One of the QoL suggestion that would be most appreciated are with the Razorflies.

1. UI that display how many Razorflies are still active/alive.

2. Razorfiles regenerating or the ability to summon them without recasting Razorwing. Builds that use Growing Power and/or Energy Conversion does not have the luxury to hop in and out of Razorwing. Titania alone doesn't have that luxury of exiting her most defensive form and expose herself let alone have much time to regain those buff when ever all of her Razorflies dies.

3. Razorfiles scaling. There health does not scale and much like Titania herself, can be shot down in one hit during high level mission like Arbitration.

Cast Time:

Titania has a very long cast time on her skill when she is not in Razorwing (Adds onto her lifestyle of living and dying in Razorwing). A reduce cast time on her skill would greatly improve her quality of life. Lantern has a 1.3s cast time and you are rooted in place during that time. This is a extremely long time to wait in a fast pace game like Warframe.

The Tribute Buff, Thorns:

The Thorns buff is not viable. 50% damage reflected is nothing compared to an enemy healthpool. A defensive buff like damage reduction or additional armor would have a more of an impact with performance and usage of the buff.

A little tidbit about me is that when I started Warfame a year ago, I knew Titania was the frame for me. She was my first set goal in the game and helped me push on and learn more about Warframe. Titania is my most used Frame. I hope my suggestion would help play a part in her rework and that Titania gets the adjustment needed to bring her up to date to stand with all the newer Frames released/reworked.

Already shown; that's the number infront of the ability when razorwing is in use.

But yeah otherwise i agree with what you've said. They should also let Agility Drift affect Titania in razorwing as well; as it provide DR when airborne.

Also, i feel really stupid because, ever since i got titania at the start of the year, i've been running both aviator and agility drift thinking they were working in razorwing when in reality they haven't.

Unfortunately this isnt a QoL change this is a rework. They would have to recode AW mechanics so as simple as it sounds this couldn't happen u less they went full Rework.

 

Also fullmoon is just as terrible as thorns considering you loose your companion and a dead companion cant do damage not to mention drones do 150 slash damage. With fullmoon youd get 6 drones doing a whooping 150 + 70%(105) = 255×6=1530 yeah. Fullmoon is garbage and doesnt belong in her kit either. 1 none resummonable drone will do 255 slash.
