[RESOLVED] Rejecting a friend request does not remove notification icon

When I logged in there was a pending friend request as indicated by an icon in the top right of the UI. However, after rejecting the pending friend request, the notification icon still remains. The attached screenshot was taken a several missions were played without logging out. The icon disappeared after restarting the client.

With no pending friend requests, does exit game and log in again, remove the notification icon?

 

Mostly the same thing have happened to me.

Problem 1: I only get the friend request icon at the top right the next time I log in, after playing with those players a day before.

Problem 2: After I accept friend request, that icon keeps showing up, until I exit game, start game, and log in again.

Yes, after exiting and relaunching the game client, the notification icon no longer appeared. But until then it was visible.

Bump. This issue just occurred again. This time with a friend request I accepted.

Can also report this happening. Any friend request that comes in, even if you accept or reject the request, will show the pending icon until the client is restarted.

I can confirm that this issue has nothing to do with an empty friends list. The last two friend requests I accepted caused exactly the same UI bug. The most recent happened just moments ago.
