Just like regular Excalibur can not use prime or umbra skins, the more advanced versions can not use each other’s. Makes sense to me. And keeps them separated and more unique. Sounds like most people wanting to completely change Umbra’s appearance just want to make him look like Excalibur Prime as some way to show off. Especially if those same people accuse others of being “jealous”. Yet they are the ones complaining about skins. 🤷🏻♂️ I could see DE allowing certain parts of Umbra to be removed but then it makes Umbra look exactly like Excalibur or Excalibur Prime. And DE, no doubt, wants to keep Umbra separated from the other versions. Mainly separated from the Prime. His abilities are even a little different also.
