cyclone_ssbm
I'm waiting on Inaros to finish up right now, and while I was looking through his augments, I thought, "Are they worth the drain/standing?" So are they?
0 Vosenedich
There are none worth it. In my experience, none of the Inaros mods are able to compete with standard builds. To elaborate: • Elemental Sandstorm allows you to proc elemental status effects on enemies en-mass, but it doesn't modify the base function of the ability, which given it's rather small radius and slow movement, is almost never worth the energy drain nor the time required to use. At best, sandstorm is used to avoid a barrage of gunfire before resuming the killing. • Negating Swarm is far better than the previous mod, but still rather useless. The most deadly status procs that might harm Inaros are Viral and Radiation, which are already extremely rare. This mod essentially turns all those slash and piercing procs from the Grineer into armor-stripping hits, which is rather counter-productive. The saving grace of this mod is that it blocks knockdowns, specially usefull against the Grineer (Scorpions and Shield Lancers) and the Infested (all Ancients). 0 GnarlsDarkley
No, they are useless. No one with their right mind needs immunity to all status effect /s
0 Myscho
Negation Swarm is pretty usefull
0 Blade_Wolf_16
The Negation Swarm is pretty decent, as it allows you to avoid deadly procs such as Toxin/Bleed as well as annoying debuffs (Cold, Radiation, Magnetic, etc.) and Knockdowns from Blast procs. And besides, losing 3% of the armor to protect you from things that could kill you is pretty good. Idk how it works with Wyrm's Negation (like which negation has riority over the other), but it might be even better to use them both. Not sure about the Sandstorm one, but if you have a high Corrosive/Viral/Slash melee, it might be good with a high range+efficiency build. (according to the wiki, 200% Power strenght with the augment allows you to proc 100% of the time with the Sandstorm)
0 lolmetimbers
Negation swarm is useful (but annoying to recast) if you don't have arcane grace. Otherwise rapid resilience is much better.

0 tobascodagama
Proc damage isn't a big deal on Inaros, in my experience. But I still find Negation Swarm useful for resisting knockdowns and other hard CC. You could make an argument that you're better off just using Handspring and/or Constitution instead, though. 0 ASHERATOR
Sure at most of the star chart negation swarm isn't necessary but for extended survival, ESO or arbitration runs where status bleeds, toxin, radiation etc. can do massive damage it makes all the difference in the world plus you don't get knocked down as an additional bonus so that you can keep focusing on what you need to be doing instead of being killed and unable to fight back. Pretty much a must have once off the star chart stuff.
0 Xzorn
Elemental Sandstorm sucks because Sandstorm ticks once per second which is not enough to justify a mod slot. Negating Swam is pretty much a better Rapid Resilience for Inaros that requires upkeep. Rapid Resilience or Negating Swarm are required for high end Grineer as their Bleed procs can and will drop you in 2 ticks. Grineer Eviscerator's are esp nasty. It's pretty much the mod used to help Inaros get around the fact he's an Armor based frame which is the least reliable kind. Negating Swarm is more elective against other factions. Come to think of it. Inaros is 2 years old now and still doesn't have all his augments...
0 LarryYourWaiter
Negation swarm has some fans but that slot is better used for adaptation if you want to be an immortal god.
