Quaro Sugatra's rubbery mount

A while ago I commented on the fact that the entire Quaro sugatra seemed to be made of marshmallow, seeing as the entire thing deflated and flopped about when swung - metal bits and wire and all.

Some time after the Quaro got touched up a bit so that the keychain at the end of the wire is rigid. But whoever did the job (appreciated, honestly) overlooked the metal mounting plug that attaches the sugatra to the melee weapon; that bit still flops a bit at the end where the wire begins.

Any chance this last bit can also be made rigid? Thanks.
