Unable to use abilities/weapons

Hi,

I keep running into this issue but not sure what causes it. It manifests in a couple of ways.

Usually it doesn't allow me to use any weapons or abilities, I get "Ability in use" in the bottom right hand corner whenever I try to trigger anything, and weapon select with F doesn't work either. I also can't use the scanner.

The other way it tends to work is I can't use weapons, but I will get, say, exclusive use of Exalted blade but with no energy cost (ie: the bar doesn't reduce) for a while. Obviously that's quite fun but not right. :)

It's really frustrating in the first case in defence missions as it makes me look like an idiot that isn't pulling his weight. :D
