Azoic1974
Is it worth it modding for Ability Strength? With Power Drift, Transient Fortitude, and Augur Secrets Sandstorm can do almost 1k per second....... And it would increase the health return from Dessication. These look good on paper, just wondering experienced Inaros players think.
0 Voltage
Inaros really only benefits from range on his pocket sand. His other abilities are either lackluster or do not require strength. This is what I use for Inaros:

Only difference is that I like to use corrosive modded shotguns instead of melee.
0 TheGrimCorsair
Anything beyond Stretch isn't of great use for Inaros, generally. That said, his 1 and 4 do benefit a fair bit from the range, though with his 4 it usually means the enemies end up spread around with fewer overlapping healing auras which kinda defeats the purpose of the ability. His 4 benefits somewhat from power strength as well, though not tanking your power strength is usually preferable. Inaros' Sandstorm (3) is an incredibly lackluster ability, as range mods will scale off half the value listed as the listed range is actually the diameter, not radius, of the attack. Without the augment it does very rapidly dwindling damage to armored foes, and your mobility in it is sufficiently limited to the point where ranged enemies just stand back and shoot you. His 2 serves to crate healing fonts he and allies can use to turn themselves invincible and heal off of in a pinch, and doesn't gain anything meaningful from extra range or power strength. Approach Inaros like a very tanky healer with decent control abilities via his 1 and 4 and you'll have a much better picture of what kinda frame he is. Most of his bonus damage comes from melee attacks and finishers executed against enemies stunned by his 1.
