Why can't I fit an inspiration hall here?

Why can't I fit an inspiration hall in this location?. Does it not have the same box as the Grand and Grandest hall or am I missing something? There is nothing on the other side and it should be able to fit into this space.

Because of the floors above and underneath.

i had the same problem. Inspiration hall is very tall, you have another room on 2nd floor that is blocking you from building it. you must change your project to avoid this issue. A good solution from DE would be increasing the height of elevator.

Like stated above, its because it is going trough the room you have on your upper floor, the hall is huge in size so it sometimes hits rooms above it.

Top is the lower floor and the bottom is the Middle floor. They are orientated so they are facing the same way. I fixed the issue by changing the straight hallways into extended straight hallways. I don't see an issue and I can't find any trace of clipping from the hall into the garden.
