Fortuna: Hotfix 24.1.4

Changes:

  • Updated Arcane Rage description to read "Primary Weapons" instead of "Rifles".

Exploit Fixes:

  • We have fixed an exploit that could only be performed knowingly. Now that the issue is fixed, we will be reviewing our database for extreme offenders and issuing suspensions accordingly. 

Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where Ivara's Navigator would lock a player if taken control of certain Fishing gear and never let go.
  • Fixed a ‘/glitch’ in one of Ordis’ transmissions during The Jordas Precept.
  • Fixed some localization consistency.

I am guessing this was the Khora affinity exploit advertised on YouTube. I have witnessed bugs/exploits/abuse shown by partners in the past, but I still wonder why they keep their affiliation badge. This seems very similar to a certain topic looming on Reddit regarding the behavior of affiliated players.

There's a bunch of things that need to be looked at at some point though, would be glad if you guys could check that out:
- Enemy spawns in the Grineer Shipyard Defense tile are off sometimes, with some of them resetting into the sky, or not appearing at all so that the wave cannott be finished, breaking the mission (missing enemies seem to become visible for squad members leaving and reconnecting to the game)
- Once companions touch the electrified rail upstairs on the Grineer Shipyard Defense tile, they instantly are down, and will go on doing so after being revived, since they have no chance to move away through missing invincibility time
- Changing loadouts via starchart won't change the focus school until one checks into the arsenal directly
- Recently, Oculysts on Lua (specifically Extermination) only seem to spawn on very rare occasions after being announced by the Lotus (like 1 out of 4 cases)

And also some REALLY old ones...:
- When joining into an already going Interception mission, the progress/tower HUD might be bugged or missing completely
- When one squad member is done loading a mission and skips the mission intro cinematic before other players have the mission loaded, those might be stuck watching the cinematic without being able to skip it
- The objective waypoint marker sometimes lags behind after entering a new tile, or points to a tile further ahead than the current tile exit
- When the escort drone from Bounties/Incursions on Plains Of Eidolon passes on a certain path near Hek's Stiletto, it might get stuck on a cliff, preventing mission progress
- Sortie missions on Plains Of Eidolon have various bugs (follow-up Incursions not starting, cave doors not opening, caches missing, ...)

Still no option to use the 24.0.4 skywing control scheme where pressing the key to move back along with the key to move quickly doesn't result in moving forward slowly. Disappointing.

Still no fix for not being able to name our crafted K-Drives. Is gilding supposed to be a thing or not? People need to know how this will change so they can decide whether to craft more K-Drives or not. It's pretty lame that it's been this long, and the only way to get an insta forma and the ability to name your K-Drive is by paying for it with platinum.

RIP to everyone who did that exp exploit.

Hope they didn't get a perm ban though, you let us PC players test and report bugs in your game (that's still in "Beta") for more than 5 years and just because they use a bug for their benefit you ban them instead of just reverting the exp gained. EULA violation or not, it's a bad move in my opinion.

If it's just a short temp ban it's fine though.

the exploit was leveling your weapons n stuff in under 1 min, thats about it

there was a bug that let you level up any equipment from level 0 to 30 in more or less a minute
