Echo-lure and bait not equping

I'm having an issue where when I try to add a lure or bait to my gear wheel it gives me an error message that says "this item will be automatically available from the gear menu when appropriate." 

I tried logging in and out and nothing. Tried changing frames. I even unequiped everything from my gear wheel and my previous lures and bait also can no longer be equipped.

Baits and lures can be selected by using the Fishing Spears and Tranq Rifle, respectively. You don't need to equip any baits or lures individually, just 1 spear, 1 mining laser and 1 tranq rifle and everything you own that's relevant to the zone you're in will be available.

yeah i have the same problem and still isnt working and cant go hunting at all now
