Modding MK1-Braton and Lato

So, I decided to redo all the cinematic quests with the base equipment : Excalibur, Skana, Mk1-Braton and Lato. I can get an excellent damage output with Excal and the Skana (condition overload 4ever) but I can't kill enemies in less than 10 shots past level 30... Is there something I can do or is it just that those weapons are utter trash ? How should I build them, crit, status ?

have you tried a hybrid build? that might work

Try the usual hybrid build for Lato

and for Braton this one (with a maxed Armaments ofc)
