Christmas sales?

I remember a few years ago we had a thing on the forums here during christmas time, where people voted on 2 or 3 different items, like deluxe skins and collections. The winner of the vote would go on 50-60% sale on the in-game market and each item was on sale for about 4 days or so, until moving on to the next one. There was a total of 7 items if I remember correctly.

Is this event ever going to come back? Personally would prefer that one over this Tennobaum, even if it is for a good cause.
