Torid Redesign

Now when we got bio lab in the dojo's we were hoping for weapons that looked like this

 

 

But instead we get THIS recolor of Ogris

 

 

So because of this lameness in the modeling department I have quickly sketched this.

 

 

Now I envision the Torid as a toxic stomach wrapped up in a rib cage covered in infested flesh.

 

Infested weapons in the bio lab need to feel infested in looks not just poison DoT damage. Also there's a huge lack in infested weaponry in the market so less Tenno/Grineer stuff more Corpus/Infested. Because there's only 1 corpus weapon (That is assumed a Tenno weapon due to it being an Orokin knockoff) and 1 Infested but a crap ton of Tenno and Grineer. I'd like to see the flavors of each faction.

 

Note I am not finished with this art yet but expect it to be done soon.

My guess is like the Acrid, the Torid and the aforementioned weapon are actually of Grineer origin, but 'powered by Toxic Ancient hearts'. (Can't remember the original source).

 

But I do like the concept. Perhaps the new Infested weapons will look like this?

I think they said all new infested weapons will be melee only for now on and will be taking the current ones out of the dojos. But I do like the idea of the infested weapon looking more infested.

Its not infested weapon its using infested technologies.

I'd rather prefer a infested looking weapon rather than some lame piece of metal having a infested like nature.

 

Organic bio weapons are barely used in Sci-Fi and it's a shame. Warframe has the potential to have them though.
