RabidBunny Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I noticed that all mods are displayed, even if they are installed. I'd like to know if this means you can use one mod multiple times, I haven't had anything saying it doesn't work as I have max Serration on my Dethcube and Miter at the moment. Does anyone have any ideas if this actually works, or will one of my guns not benefit from serration?
mhyr1104 Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 It's the new thing from the update, now all mods which are equipped will still be able to be equipped to other weapons, so both your Dethcube or your Miter will benefit from your maxed Serration
White_Raven Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 (edited) Yes to your question and personal I don't like this new mod system... Edited September 10, 2013 by White_Raven
RabidBunny Posted September 10, 2013 Author Posted September 10, 2013 Heh, thats pretty cool. I guess that saves me having to max the second Serration.
A1CZERO Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Yes, you can use the same mods on multiple weapons. Yes, you can use the same mod for your weapon and sentinel, but I believe this is unintended and is only temporary.
Creovex Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Yes to your question and personal I don't like this new mod system... If you are like me, who plays more than one frame in a day and loves switching weapons, this change is designed to make life easier. No more stripping out the items I need to hope in with my Rhino for a minute or work on a level of my Trinity. Bravo for simplifying things so I can go back to playing the actual game rather than play mod hockey all day. Note: Just because you have a maxed mod does not mean that you may not need another version of it with a lesser level.
LeAtlas Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Yes to your question and personal I don't like this new mod system... oh sure... removing and looking for mods every single time is sooo much better than just looking for them when they are ready in the list wow somebody give this man a cookie

No it's just... i have enough mods for each warframe and this new system is kindda screwing me up with it. Just a personal feeling. EDIT: And I don't swap mods between weapons and frames, ever. I have a build for each one so i don't need to do that. Edited September 10, 2013 by White_Raven

LeAtlas Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 It's ok. Glad that we had solved that misunderstanding. :D np i'm glad that they updated the mod system though but i can sense another buff in the enemies soon lol since our weapons and Dethcube are quite OP with this new system lol
Chaosdreamer Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Wondering lets say i equipped multiple weapon and i sold withouth checking the mod or unequip , its the one that was equiped = lose the stuff on it? or remain in others (duplicating?)
Zamte Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Wondering lets say i equipped multiple weapon and i sold withouth checking the mod or unequip , its the one that was equiped = lose the stuff on it? or remain in others (duplicating?) It's not duplicating it because it was never duplicated to begin with. Just picture it as your UI automatically moving your mods to where you last had them. The only time it's "duplicated" is for your sentinel. I personally like this, because I think it's a bit unreasonable to ask us to level multiple ten rank mods just to use them on a pet who isn't as capable or as smart as a player. However, they have said it will likely not stay this way. As for weapons, selling them with mods in them before would remove the mods from them. Now it just leaves them in whatever else they are in and gets rid of the weapon you sold.
