Ignish Wraith 60/60 mods vs 90% mods

shows that Infected Clip + Storm bringer (2x 90% dmg mods) deals more sustain dps and more burst dps than 2x 60/60 mods.

The rest build is standard: Vile Acceleration, Serration, Points Strike, Heavy Caliber, Serration, Split Chamber.

 

However I guess warframe-builder calculates only raw damage so it does not show the benefit of more corrosive procs vs armored enemies to strip their armor faster. I guess.

So what is better than?

I use one 90% and the other 60/60

60/60 mods will give you a lot more status procs.

90 mods give you slightly more damage. A very slight amount when you stack up a lot of other elementals.

 

Factorized corrosive status comparison

2 60/60 is 2.2 * 1.2 / 2.2 = 1.2

1 60/60 and 1 90 is 1.6 * 1.5 / 2.5 = 0.96

2 90 is 1 * 1.8 / 2.8 = 0.64285

60/60 gives 86.7% more corrosive status procs

Also a lot more heat procs

220 vs 250 vs 280

90 gives 27.3% more damage
