Pricing rivens?

Question

I have 5 rivens I don't want that I would like to sell but I've never sold an unveiled riven and have no idea how to price them or what they would even be worth.  I doubt they are worth much but I would like to get what I can for them so just a possible price would be nice.

the sicarus and lato are worth about 50, the quanta and the kunai about 15-20.  They are all crappy rolls, but sic and lato are good weapons(prime & vandal versions) with good dispositions, so they are worth more.  Also, you posted the mutalist quanta twice.

Thanks for the info.  The last one was supposed to be https://imgur.com/J5Fn7oO

It is a grinlok riven that does 10% heat 9.7% electric and 5.2% reload

grinlok is the same story as the kunai and quanta.

Pinning the exact price is often difficult, but getting a general idea is easy.  First, is the Riven intrinsically valuable?  The Opticor and sniper rifles are great for eidolon hunts and they have all have decent to great dispositions.  The tiberon has been valuable since the tiberon prime.  Same with the Supra after it was buffed.  Good weapons with highish dispositions.  The relative difficulty in obtaining the Lato Vandal and Sicarus prime keeps the disposition high even tho they are good weapons, hence they are worth more than the average.

Then you look for some core buffs on the riven.  Damage and multishot are almost always the best.  Every other damage buff scales off those, so no matter what your build, +d and +ms are great to have.  Likewise, having those as a curse is crippling.  For crit weapons, +cc(crit chance) and +cd(crit damage) are usually good to have, but generally not better than +d and +ms.  There are exceptions.  For example, for sniper rifles in eidolon hunts, +cc can be the best because it combines best with Chroma's Vex buff and Volt's Shield.  +status chance can be extremely good for shotguns that can't otherwise get to 100% status.  +element can be quite good, but its more complicated.  +electric or +toxin is great on status weapons that can strip armor, because it biases the status procs away from IPS(impact, puncture, slash).  +toxin is also good for gas builds.  +heat and +electric are great on sniper rifles and opticor for the radiation damage against Eidolons.  Generally speaking, you want 2 out of your 3 buffs to be one of these for it to be a good riven.  Getting 1 good buff is easy and thus, doesn't improve the value of the riven all that much.  Getting 2 usually requires some investment and makes for a good riven.  If all your buffs are top tier, and you have a curse that doesn't affect it negatively(or even improves it, like -impact does for a strun, or -zoom does for many sniper rifles), you have a very valuable god roll.

Melee gets more complicated, and its going to change a lot with melee 3.0.
