Profit Taker fight: Nothing works but main weapons

As stated in the title, most of the time I enter a profit taker fight, it keeps me as if I am at the elevator, and wont let me use any powers, operator, or gear wheel. It makes me either be useless for the fight, or just leave the fight so others can come in and actually help.

There is a similar issue with the profit-taker fight I have. On exiting the elevator, I can 'use' the archwing, but not actually get it equipped or get the speed buff, and find myself walking slowly through the air to my destination. I can not switch to anything else, including weapons or gearwheel, while like this. Sometimes it lasts the entire walk to the profit-taker fight. Sometimes it flips out sends me plummeting through the world. Others it eventually comes up and I can fly off.
