Long Warframe Expansion Idea for Future End Game

Key:

Red= New things that can be added within the New Tier drop tables

Yellow= Drops From faction Bosses

Blue= Possible Lore leading to the Second Tier System, Don’t know much of Lore though

Green= What can be done with Orokin Cores

General Changes:

Introduce Shield Gating

Increase the effectiveness of batteries in gaining life support for survival, largely due to the fact that strong CC frames are more viable if so then just high DPS. Or make it so that the batteries are based on time to kill maybe, with higher kill time rewarding higher support from batteries on a set range triggered by interacting with the enemy (as in using CC or dealing damage to them with any means).

Accuracy does not scale with enemy level if it does, a Level 1 unit has the same accuracy as a level 100 unit to prevent aimbot hordes, so that lots of movement will be rewarded at higher levels. Maybe allow enemy AI to dodge and roll more with level scaling instead of just running and taking cover, this allows for more lively enemies.

Introduce Scaling Rewards within the new Tier System endless nodes, such as Rivens. These Rivens are untradable to not significantly change market and Sortie, could be blue instead of purple.

Tier System:

Introduction of a Black Market Tier System into planets in which the planets endless nodes are affected when the Black Market is near, much like how a  Kuva Fortress works for nodes that are near it. Black market makes endless nodes of the certain planet begin at level 100 with changes to its rewards/enemies. You do not have to unlock all nodes once again- it will be present if all nodes are already unlocked.

Second Tier Characteristics for all Nodes:

  • Introduction of Faction Bosses within endless nodes. This happens once a full rotation is completed. Includes Sub Bosses like Sentients, Nox, and other big boss like enemies you find in the index/arena (more than 1 though). This could happen at any point during similar to how factions contact you to try to kill you, so you’ll be mark to death by “Sub Bosses” which randomly generates the mentioned bosses at anytime with cooldowns in between rotations. So at rotation C, you’ll be fighting a boss along with other sub bosses
  • Faction Bosses Drop Orokin Cores/new material, and trophy heads as standing and cosmetics for Warframes with each tier boss (based on the rotation) dropping different varieties of helms that lets you upgrade the helm- this could introduce the new Tier System by having a underground Black Market that focuses on Orokin cores, where their suspicion grows with each new core used while turning in heads reduces this suspicion. The boss could also drop randomly generated exclusive skins with its generation set on one boss skin concept design, for example one skin could have large shoulders while the other does not but will still be considered the same skin, so in function it will be similar to a zaw/riven.
  • Black Market is located somewhere in a relay, the player base will not know where in the beginning but they will know it exist. It will allow you to make arcanes universal, meaning that an arcane only for an amp or a zaw could be used on any weapon applicable, given that you sacrifice that arcane. This also requires Orokin Cores, maybe 1-3. Drawbacks from using the Orokin Cores for arcanes and possibly other things can be like incentivizing a Fomorian like thing to destroy the market and heightening the chances of Sub Bosses to appear in missions so that as your equipment gets stronger, the enemies threat get worse. The Black market will change relays when the Fomorian like thing arrives. Darvo could give a clue as to where the Black Market is or is going to be.
  • Mods/Endo/Relics/Credit Caches are removed from drop tables, instead add Forma/ Exclusive Primed Mods (for Archwing too) or new arcanes or new crafting components to craft Orokin Cores
  • When the Black Market has moved to every planet there will be a war with the Tenno and the faction, rewarding exclusive weapons/arcanes
  • Tier System does not affect abritations (but you have to complete all nodes) or alerts or dark sectors or any other existing things in the current solar system such as story quest. It is an entirely new independent solar system with harder or at least higher leveled enemies for each endless mission like defense, survival, etc.
  • Nodes Unaffected: Nodes that are not endless

Black Market Ideas/Possible Lore:

Having a riven/zaw like system where any weapons from the game with high dispositions (4 or more) can be reconfigured in some way to increase its utility or cc or sc with an additive value, so that rivens with high percentages can actually affect the weapons for a better amount (49 weapons that I know of are affected positively from the recent changes). Should be used by only weapons made long ago (prime variants as well) that are clearly lackluster. This can also diversify drop tables by adding in passes or blueprints that allow you to reconfigure these certain weapons, so like Grineer survival will have grineer weapon passes/blueprints and so forth.  This system can also empower underpowered mods such as Sure Shot and the likes in the same way it can empower older weapons, it will be up to the player to do so though. Or have Orokin Cores also affect these high disposition weapons in that way (the rate at which Orokin cores affect the formation of a Fomorian like thing would have to decrease I suppose). Anyway it might be able to break the power creep within older weapons/newer weapons and mods but it will be a living system that the player has to journey through to get the certain change for the certain weapon they want.

The Black Market could introduce an entirely different underground world where our enemies are seen to be communicating with one another and thus initiate a process by which weapons/culture are interchanged, producing different types of enemies/ faction (for example, Grineer with corpus weapons/technology and so forth). These enemies could spawn into the endless nodes once the Fomorian thing arrives, meaning that this certain faction has suspected the large useage of Orokin cores and now the Tenno must search for a different market in a different relay, giving meaning as to why the market moves or gets set up elsewhere. In a way, second tier nodes turn into a forced dark sector once the Fomorian like thing arrives. So while fighting Bosses and Sub Bosses, once the Fomorian arrives you’ll also be fighting a new faction.

More Lore to piece together the Second Tier:

Orokin cores are found in abundance within the core of planets, that has the energy to greatly reconfigure matter. These are first found by Darvos stolen technology that provides a bridge to the core of planets to siphon such cores and sets up a Black Market inhabiting a relay, where only the Tenno would know. Many Corpus units are enthralled by these Cores along with Grineer (maybe those from the Tyl Regor experiments) units that see their kind as weak and fragile and they as greater potential. In this way these certain units diffuse due to their common interest in advancing themselves beyond the Void. Using various proxies that can circumvent finding and resignaling locations, the faction is able to uncover this Black Market and holds Darvo hostage while keeping his stolen technology and coercively learning how to use it. After learning of the uses of these Cores, the faction persist in attaining Sentients to test these cores to their potential and successfully tranquilizes one with a use of an Orokin Core but realize the finite population and the adaptability of these Sentients in their amounting curiosity. This new faction tries to find a more fruitful way of attaining these Cores and tested some fragments of Cores on their own people and those of Cetus/Fortuna and successfully turn them into slaves that can bypass the dangerous path to the core of planets through a long siphoning parasitical process that turns their hearts into fully developed Cores. In these experiments, it was found that when the host was destroyed, the Core starts to slowly disintegrate as the body disintegrates, effectively connecting the dead body of the host to the makeup of the Core. Furthermore, if the host is destroyed before the siphoning is complete, the host explodes and in the process destroys any fragments of the developing Core. The people within Cetus/Fortuna are growing weary of their declining population(s) but does not know of the factions actions for they act in veiled darkness and passes the word to the Tenno. The faction has grown under the root of a relay without the knowledge of the Tenno and needs Darvo no longer, Darvo realizes what may happen to planets as an integral part of their core are being used and warns the Tenno of the upcoming threat. The Faction is re-invigorated and inspired in their formations of formidable destructions and claims the mantle, The Black Seed. The Lotus knows and trust in the Tenno’s abilities and A Lone Tenno decides to breach this Black Market and in effort to quench the threat, bargains and gains the trust of the faction by murdering the biggest and baddest Corpus/Grineer/Orokin Bosses/Sub-Bosses and using their heads as trophies to prove to these units that the Tenno are on their side in trying to advance their new found faction beyond the Void. The Corpus and Grineer units take this offering as a brief compromise in their desperation to use the Cores for the best means, for they could learn lots from the Tenno way. As the Tenno relinquish information the Tenno secretly plot to use these Orokin Cores as much as possible within their weapons to create an equilibrium between the threat that may emerge from telling this faction the Tenno way and the Tenno’s checked power. But the faction starts to notice the vast use of these Cores and deduce that it’s the Tenno that is trying to purposefully reduce supply, so the faction with new found schematics from the various Bosses/ Sub-Bosses, breeds a large advanced Fomorian and an army against the Tenno while they set up a new Black Market within a different planet. And so another Tenno begins their quest, increasing the threat of this faction but safeguarding the planet and the life it has. As the Black Market moves away from the very last planet, a large war known as the Black Seed Armada, is paved by the leader of this space pirate faction for all Tenno. The Tenno though did not equip the faction with all their means of destruction, one large all out war is waged and in the midst of archwing debris, A Lone Tenno initiates Railjack. (The cycle continues)

Don’t know if Nef Anyo still sees himself as a Prophet, but more possible Lore:

Nef Anyo sees the rise and goal of The Black Seed as a direct conflict towards his false image, so he forms a brief alliance with Vox Solaris/faction after his acknowledgement of their work to fight against the Black Seed with the Tenno. Much like Nef Anyo’s cause, Vor of the Void sends Grineer enforcements to quench the threat of The Black Seed.  (This happens once the advanced Fomorian arrives and Tenno are invaded by The Black Seeds army- this could be better for solo play and introducing more dynamic into the story)

Note: The Black Seed could potentially (Not for Dojos) send enforcements into Clans Dojo to fight the Tenno, the Clan Dojo will be dark once this event occurs. The Tenno will be attacked in every which way. The Tenno’s Dojo will lose material based on the time to kill, if all the attackers are killed then the Dojo lights up once more and reconstruction undergoes.

Overall: Does not affect the current game much I think since it creates a new tier system for nodes that acts as a compromise to those who want challenge and casual players. What this nodes does do though is piece together a wide array of enemies from different planets and pits them against the Tenno.

they already talked about why they cant do sheild gating.
if a lv 100 heavy gunner hit you an took out the sheild in 1 shot the next would just kill you

Oh ok, just thought an overall accuracy scaling debuff for enemies would be enough to create new form of survivability for squishy frames (frames that have to move a lot at early point) at high levels, especially with augur mods- kind of like quick thinking but for shields. Guess not, don't how it will function in game, only in theory.
