Frost small changes and adding something new

Frost is my favourite Warframe, but his two abilities doesn't have sense in using them.

4.Avalanche - freeze all enemies around him, reducing some armor. This is GOOD ability.
3.Snow Globe - Protect anything you want from bullets and slowing everyone that enters the globe. This is his MAIN ability and it is very GOOD.
2.Ice wave - Slowing enemies in front of him for short duration. What is a point of that ability? If Avalanche FREEZE all enemies AROUND him. Half energy cost doesn't make it good alternative ability.
1.Freeze - freezes enemies around small are of explosion and slowing some enemies. The same: What is a point of that ability? If Avalanche FREEZE all enemies AROUND him. Small energy cost doesn't make this ability useful, for some more energy you can Freeze everything in a lot greater range Avalanche (20 times larger?) and reduces enemy armor.
Passive - Striking Frost with melee attack may freeze the target. This is totally useless, because it have really low % chance, even if enemy get frozen you still get the damage, which is very risky in high leveled missions and with good use of his abilities melee attackers can't reach him.

Avalanche is a lot better ability than Ice Wave and Freeze. And they need some changes/buffs.
2.Ice wave - Wave length range changes form 20 meters to 25 meters.Add augment effect into this ability. Apply cold status but slowing them even more in time, until they freeze. That way the ability have greater range that Avalanche but only in front, but at the same time doesn't freeze enemies instantly. Something for something.
1.Freeze - Change ability name to "Ice Hammer". On use throws a hammer to enemies that on hit apply high impact damage to the target and all targets in 5 meters range get knocked down with cold status applied (damage is affected by melee weapon mods). Hold ability button to create ICE Hammer cost 50 energy, 250 impact damage, attack speed 1.0 cold status chance 20% , 15% critical chance and 2x critical damage, but can handle only 7 hits (crushes on 7th hit affected by power strength,stats are affected by melee weapon mods). this ability deals 4x damage to all Frozen enemies (hammers can easily crush frozen enemies). While using Ice hammer use ability again to throw hammer. This ability make a good synergy with his freezing abilities.
Passive - Frost passive now is Ice armor. Ice armor effect can stack up to 3 times. Each effect grants 450 armor, 1350 if all 3. Taking damage will consume a stack after 3 seconds. Not taking any damage for 3 seconds will bring back one stack/effect.

-Frozen enemies takes 4x damage from Ice Hammer when thrown or being used as melee.
-Throwing hammer at Snow Globe crushes it, knocking down all enemies in 7.5meters radius (50% more range than snow globe size) and applying cold status.
-Snow globe or freezing all enemies can protect Frost from taking damage, so he can regenerate his passive ability to make him more protected from damage when enemies will unfreeze or when moving away from Snow Globe.
-Passive ability can boost his snow globe.

avalanche is good in perspective but is actually very inefficient at long endurance runs do to needing very high efficient cost wit a hefty casting speed plus wen a enemy is frozen that mean they arent gonna be affected by any other status proc so if u want a avalanche focus build itll need 100% debuff or it can actually make it harder to kill enemies as lvls get higher, i honestly want a change where this ability would stack avalanche debuff the same way oberon does wit his. snowglobe also falls off too and u only get 3 sec invulnerability on it before it gets popped by a single bullet so i wish duration would affect its invulnerability period for a better defense like volt. ice wave change i dont mind but if it freezes enemies the same way as avalanche but no debuff then that might be more of a nerf than a buff tbh.

Yea, as mentioned the whole Freeze / Stone / Glass effect is actually more detrimental than helpful though in Gara's case she can at least CL dagger Glass enemies thanks to her passive. I don't really agree with that mechanic's behavior involving status effects but in a way you kinda made his Ice Wave augment worse.

I don't recall his first ability Freeze stripping armor but Avalanche is really only good when it's 100% which is very limiting. Damage amps like Gara's Glass is also conditional since it's countered by armor mitigation making it rather pointless under that condition.

I feel Snow Globe could use the most love. Not because it's ineffective though it does have trouble with ground based AoE like Napalms and Tar Mutalist but because in order to scale the player has to sit there and not really play the game in order to refresh it every 4 seconds. Right now at higher levels Frost pretty much shoots for 2 seconds, re-casts Snow Globe and never really moves. It's an awful play style to force on players and it kinda makes Power Strength as a stat not very useful to him.

I think your ideas are good. It's mostly just the way Freeze and status interact that is causing problems.

I like the passive idea. That's a nice frost themed idea that's far more interesting and likely to get attention than immunity to cold.

Ice wave has an augment that will create a slowing field for a duration that slows anything that is on it, or anything that enters the range. It makes the ability very strong.

Freeze already pops the snow globe and ragdolls any enemies that happen to be inside.

Ice wave is only good with Augment and that is a problem. Without augment this ability is just not worth using. Slowing down enemies just a little bit and only for 6 seconds.
Freeze pops up snow globe, but only all enemies inside of snow globe, and it's not worth doing it also. The explosion should have range beyond snow globe apply knockdown and also cold status. That way you knockdown enemies and make them slowly stand up, giving you a lot more time to kill them easily before they stand up.

Frost just needs to get a good passive, rest all have good usage (1 as a 1h spammable/on demand freeze against tigrised enemies that wouldnt die to the base duration proc while 2 for guaranteed chill proc on long range in 60 degree angle), tho his passive really shouldnt be "free better health conversion".

I like the passive idea alot.

 

Frost just needs synergy between his abilites.

Like using his 1 twice on the same target explodes them and freeze targets in an 5-8m radius.

His 2 comboing with 1 and 3 giving his frozen target spikes so when 1 is used again it does puncture or slash damage. And same goes for his globe except when targets try to enter. If they're near the shape ends of the globe they'll take up puncture or slash damage every second they take a step further.

I want to see globe get its own meter/counter to keep track of his 4 globes.

 

Avalanche is in a great place. I'd think the only thing that could further it would be enemies taking increased damage from it while standing in your globe.
