A lot of the things I loved were nerfed or Unvaulted(primed stuff) To give a better perspective on things, here's the scene in detail. As a newbie excal. Really liked him Built a 4 forma bladed turret. Which got nerfed right after the day I ranked him back to 30 after the 4th forma. Used to see players absolutely own the game blasting that simulor everywhere Made one. formad(7) it Then the mass weapon nerf happened. Then the focus rework Then ember And banshee Bought rhino and boltor for about 300p and 200 Boom, unvaulted 2 weeks later Then mag (same story ) Why you hate me DE Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
kgabor Posted January 7, 2019 Share Posted January 7, 2019 I used to like the old Tonkor and RQ Banshee, not as them being fun but because they were good for fast farming. When Banshee was nerfed, i used Sonar more, it actually has a playstyle i find fun to the point i have no idea why Quake even is still a thing... Afaik. Excalibur is still good and you even got to have an upgraded version now and an augment with millions of damage and status procs. I haven't seen many of them around since before the first "rework." Granted she wasn't in the best place before... but she was in a better place then than now... I'm amazed they never reverted the changes, especially after the general outrage and backlash... I'd be interested to see the metrics of how few people play Ember now. Guest Posted January 7, 2019 Share Posted January 7, 2019 (edited) It's not hard at all to predict which frames are likely to be unvaulted soon so you have only yourself to blame for spending a lot of plat on them. Frost was unvaulted not very long after he was given as a Twitch Prime promotion. Volt's unvaulting through Baro was a year ago and it was just one weekend, it's not at all unlikely he will get a 'real' unvaulting soon.
