I spotted this whilst browsing and I also happened to see the "virus form" idea. That set me thinking.

 

Who knows of the Thousand Sons from WH40K? They're basically suits of armour animated by sorcery and willpower. Perhaps something similar could happen here.

 

Perhaps the virus has infested Baphomet for so long the Tenno inside no longer exists. All that remains of him is a warped mound of flesh and the suit itself contains his spirit/will.

 

Thoughts?

+1 this concept, over all its well laid out and clearly had the love put into it to be noticed. As for what warframe he could possibly not drop any frame but instead is weapon blueprint and components?

 

Maybe, but it's always nice to have a frame...

 

Perhaps... Typhus?

I have a thought on this.

Very personal i iotheee since I try to sculpt both :p

I love both concepts, because they are each others poles.

They were once good and pure now twisted by infection.

One still on the good side, the other turned to evil and corruption.

What if they have a shared past, and meet again for a showdown?

"We meet again Typhus."

"You should not have come back, Baaphomet."

"When last We met I was but the learner. Now I am the Master!"

"Only a Master of evil, Baphomet."

"You are weak old friend. Now I will destroy you."

"Your skull will make a fine addition to my warframe. Prepare to die."

^ true, but in the case of these two they have been Infected by a strain who mutated them in different ways.

Besides, Typhus got turned into a leech by the virus, makim him a dark knight, can he be trusted?

Baphomet was a healer, then found a wsy to allow the virus to mutate himself, maby lowering the immunity to the virus.

Remember, Baphomet is probably Orokin and not Tenno, like the Stalker.

Question, is the Lore still the same?

If he was once a great Healer and then became twisted by the technocite, how do you imagine he looked?

I am thinking of doing the body in sucj a way that the original warframe shows in places.

It's easy to imagine a Prime beneath the red and grey, but something cooler would be even better!

And the name... perhaps something angelic , the opposite of his new self?

Yes Morec0 I agree it was basically his trusted beast.

I am unsure if DE would go for Baaphomet in the current stare though.

He would probably need a redesign based on either Orokin or Infested.

Personally I would love it if he was one infested boss, perhaps once being a "handler" of the Tenno.

Envy and curiosity drove him to extreme experiments to be greater than the tenno.

He suceeded, but lost some sanity to the swarm.

Now he is like Kerrigan in Star craft, guiding the infested and in result evolving them to beings with a higher awareness.

Still hope DE speaks up about him at one point.
