[Warframe Ability Suggestion] Turning Nyx's second ability, Psychic Bolts, into a Psychic Beam

Turn Nyx's Psychic Bolts into a Psychic Beam that she shoots from her arm/s with a more satisfying to use animation but keeping the same idea of reducing enemy armor, shields and movement speed

-The beam should be a toggle ability, draining energy per second

-The beam should be able to pierce through enemies to increase it's AoE potential

-The beam should have decent range to increase her AoE potential even further beyond

-The beam could also deal damage

Overall, I just think it would make Nyx more effective and most of all, more fun to play.

Edit: Nyx herself should be able to move to move while using the ability, maybe with a movement speed penalty

Yeah i mostly agree her 2 didn't have much use except to implement her passive quicklyish however im on console and don't know what changes were made to her yet so maybe her 2 was vastly improved in other ways?

They removed the damage on her bolts but made them shred armor, shields and reduce movement speed by a percentage

Oh i see and im guessing that percentage depends on ability strength from what I remember the damage was insignificant compared to the cost i guess the base percentage depends on if that's been fixed or not thanks for letting me know the changes though

Also idk about the beam thing theyd reduce the effect per hit to balance the cost (i.e it might hit more people but it will take a lot longer to achieve the same effect)  

perhaps instead of being a drain ability (using energy per second) it could fire a short beam that punches through enemies

the next part has options:

It could fire for an amount of time based on duration with the reduced movement speed but not completely stopping movement as suggested with the initial idea

It could fire a short beam like the opticor that punches through enemies and bounces around for an amount of time determined by duration (this one would have a much shorter duration than the first option to avoid making her too strong) 

It could fire a short beam (like the opticor) that punches through enemies in q straight line dissipating when it hits a wall or travels too far (distance travelled being determined by range)

 

The cost would remain the same as it currently is
