Hysteria Isn't Immuning Status 'Procs'

Maybe It's not supposed to? 
I have a veiled pistol riven that states "Get the killing blow on 5 Sentients without getting afflicted by a status effect 0/5"
I've went to Lua for the obvious Sentient farm locations and decided Hysteria was the easiest way to well, 1 shot the Sentients so i entered 'Tycho' Survival and waited
got the first 2 Sentients and waited for the next set, yet when i went in on the 2nd set With Hysteria Activated, they apparently proc'd a Status on me(no visual status effect because Hysteria) but it still reset the riven to 0/5.
From what i understand it seems old sources are claiming Valkyrs Hysteria is 1 of the ways to immune Status... but it seems they weren't talking about the Status Proc itself and just the obvious being immune to the damage / effects.
am I wrong to assume this is a bug?

LSS Hysteria isn't immuning the Status Proc for a riven requirement.
THE Question:

Is Hysteria Supposed to be immune to status procs? or only the effects of the status itself?

if Hysteria isnt supposed to immune the proc, then thats sillly other Warframes weaker abilities immune procs...
