Stygie Posted January 17, 2019 Share Posted January 17, 2019 (edited) Titania is quite possibly one of the most consistent high DPS frame in the game, but this is overshone by the fact that she dies so quickly and has inconsistent abilities. If we were to streamline her abilities, she would be able to be one of the best frames in the game. Passive I love the trampoline passive but it is highly inconsistent as many people do not follow Titania around or the Titania player is constantly in razorwing so perhaps change it to grant her and her team base 25% evasion and 15% parkour velocity when within. a certain unmodable distance of her. This would allow her to gain up to 75% evasion in her razorwing and benefit her entire team's survivability. Spellbind This is a fine ability. It is more of a panic button that a useful cc. Would say the best thing to do is increase its base radius and give it the tether mechanic you gave lantern so it is more consistent. The enemies tend to float away making it hard to do consistent damage on them. Having them float in one area and not move miles away would be so beneficial. Tribute This ability is good in practice but the buffs need to be looked at. Titania is built around avoiding damage, but when she gets hit she dies instantly so lets these buff assist her even more in doing damage and avoid damage. Dust This one is fine the accuracy reduction works well with the evasion. Thorns This ability needs to change. It is just inconsistent and does not make sense on Titania as she avoids damage as her main survivability. Change this to making the enemies gun jam and making them more susceptible to damage. Thorns grow into their weapons causing them to jam and as they remove the thorns they bleed and are weakened. This just synergizes better with her kit. Entangle It is fine but it needs to affect enemy's fire rate more so they shoot fewer bullets helping Titania more with survivability. Fewer bullets, less damage to avoid. Full Moon This is fine for the most part but I would like to see an extra effect where attacks by pets, including razor flies, inflict madness/confusion. The full moon was said to inflict such madness and it is something that did show up in fae magic. It would make sense and it would add more survivability through enemies not shooting! Lantern This ability is better now that the fixes have been made to it but the casting animation it to long and the tether mechanic should work like a balloon on a string, not like a harpoon. What I mean is that the enemy should be restricted to moving within a certain length away from the casting point not being able to shot farm away but then getting pulled back. This should also apply to her Spellbind as well. Razorwing Literally her best ability with pretty much nothing wrong with it. IMO, since some people don't like the universal vacuum. Only one small change, razor flies should act as a defensive mechanism to Titania protecting their queen with their lives. Make it so that when she take lethal damage that one razor fly takes the hit and she is healed to 25% of her health with a 3 second invincibility period after. With all the other changes in here, it would be near impossible to get hit but this is a good fall back when she finally does or get hit with an aoe bombard shot. Also, let kills restore razor flies to her. Maybe 10 kills per razor fly restored? Titania is a good frame with a little love she can be an amazing frame. Trusnam Posted January 17, 2019 Share Posted January 17, 2019 I think razorwings taking lethal damage would be too much as Mods can do a decent enough job with her survivablity even without your other suggestions. Duality52 Posted January 17, 2019 Share Posted January 17, 2019 Just one thing @Lucian_Adrion, Titania's slow casting animations has remained unchanged for two years now, Spellbind shouldn't take more than a second to cast honestly, not to mention how sluggish Tribute and Lantern are to the point where you ask yourself "why am I using this when I could just kill them faster than the animations?". And no, Natural Talent is not a good fix considering that it only drops from the G3 and considering what would be the first impressions of a new player using Titania for the first time once they get her from her quest. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
