Fire Nova: Ember Rework

TLDR: Add Heat stacks which affect all abilities, their cost and damage. 4th ability is an active nuke.

Passive: Same as it is now but with the addition of Heat stacks similar to Nidus and Saryn stacks. As Ember deals damage, she gains stacks of Heat. She can then consume that Heat to reduce ability cost and increase damage. Heat stacks could also harden her armor, decreasing damage taken.

Fireball, Accelerant, and Fire Blast remain the same but their energy cost and damage are affected by Heat stacks.

World on Fire (Fire Nova): When cast sends out an explosion of superheated energy in a large area. Enemies killed cause secondary explosions. Fireball napalms on the ground when hit by Fire Nova trigger secondary explosions. Fire Blasts hit by Fire Nova extend the range of it's area of effect.

 

Goals:

-To give new, interesting interactions to all of Ember's abilities.

-Reduce spammabillity: abilities have a high energy cost and moderate damage but stacking Heat makes them cheaper and deal more damage.

-Add some survivability through stacks. 

-To give her a 4th ability that's powerful but discourages spamming and encourages smarter, more thoughtful use. (spamming it with low or no Heat stacks does nothing but drain energy)

-Fulfill the "caster-frame" fantasy to serve as an alternative to gunplay.

 

Issues:

-No solution to dealing damage to high armor, high-level targets. Maybe Heat stacks add a corrosive element to abilities?

I like the idea for WoF and her passiv. Maybe instead of hardening armor, give her armor reduction on enemies for her Abilities, when you consume stacks, like 1% per stack. So you would be able to save stacks to get rid of Armor or spam your skills to kills trash mobs.
