Artillery Warframe- "Hohei" (Level 30 stats)

Health-400

Shield-300

Armor-300

Energy-250

Sprint speed- 0.90

Aura- Vazarin (D)

Polarities- 2 Vazarin (D) Madurai (V)

 

Hohei is a mobile artillery barrage able to distract enemies from allies and deal massive damage within range.

 

Passive: Enemies are forced to agro on Hohei, and will prefer to shoot at him rather than other Warframes or Operators. (Except when Hohei’s operator is walking around.)

Trivia: Hohei is the English spelling of the Japanese word for Artillery.

1st ability- PERPLEX (Tap on/Tap off- Duration based)- Hohei sends out dud missiles that distract, damage (from trail of flame), and fly around enemies, grabbing their attention and focusing on Hohei instead of his teammates before dropping to the ground.

 

Damage- 250 * 15% enemy hp/sec for duration of the ability.

 

Range- 25 meters

 

Duration- 20 seconds

 

Use- Tap 1 to send out a barrage of 10 dud missiles to pull enemies attention away from teammates and onto Hohei.

 

Tap 1 again before the ability timer stops to drop the duds to the ground instantly, enabling the ability to re-cast on other enemies.

 

Enabling this ability also gives an armor buff of 200 to Hohei "ONLY" for the duration of the ability.

2nd ability- MITIGATE (Toggle-uses energy/s)- Hohei opens up cooling vents on his back, cooling the artillery tubes, enabling hotter temperatures to be reached.

 

Damage- Indirect- Increases damage of first, second, and third abilities by 15%, Ability flight speed by 100%, and fire-rate by an additional 50% (ability missiles and all carried weapons.)

 

Range- N/A

 

Duration- N/A

 

Use- Tap 2 to toggle the ability, using energy per second in the process.

 

Cost- 30 initial (2 per second active)

3rd ability- BOMBARDMENT (Tap to fire)- Hohei slams his fist into the ground, artillery shells launching from his spine in an arc toward all enemies in range.

 

Damage- 800 blast per shell.

 

Range- 30 meters (5 meters for each explosion) targeted on 25 separate enemies, if not enough enemies are able to be targeted, then artillery is fired in random arcs within 30 meters.

 

Duration- N/A

 

Use- Tap 3 to fire, sending out 25 artillery shells in an arc toward enemies within range.

 

Player cannot move when this ability is being casted.

 

This ability has a slow cast speed.

 

Cost- 60 initial

4th ability- ORDNANCE (Toggle- uses energy/s)- Hohei hinders his ability to move effectively to enable himself to aim and fire a guided artillery strike at unlucky foes.


 

Damage- 500 (+20% Enemy max health) blast on target, 400 (+10% Enemy max health) blast in an aura.



 

Range- 3 meter diameter circle target, additional 5 meter diameter aura. Total of 8 meter diameter range.

 

The effective range of the launch is 75 meters from Hohei. After 75 meters, the artillery shell automatically explodes like a flak cannon.

 

Duration- N/A

 

Use- Tap 4 to enable an exalted back mounted artillery cannon, player cannot use other weapons until the ability is toggled off. Player is given an aiming arc and blast radius indicator specific to this exalted weapon. (shown in picture)

 

Player is also forced to move at 50% speed while using this ability

 

Fire Rate- 1 shell per second (around 2 when second ability is active)

 

Flight speed of the projectile is 20 m/s (40 m/s when second ability is active)

 

Cost- 50 initial (1 per second active)

I know I'm not a great artist and these drawings are pretty rough. Please look past their quality.

Feedback on abilities, design choices, passives, stats, or anything else on this page are welcome.

I also know there have been a lot of previous posts for artillery based warframes, but I haven't seen any that take agro off of other players, and that's part of Hohei's design.
