Ulvra
Most often when I play, if I am not playing with a friend I will be playing either solo or in friends only mode. I was just doing a mission now and thought "hey, I should flip this to friends only, just in case anyone wants to join" and that made me reflect on why I usually just stay solo. The main problem here is, I usually play with a purpose and even if who joins is a friend, they may not have the same purpose as me and thus arises unnecessary conflict. This however gave me an idea. Proposal We already have the available sessions tab under both clan and friends in the community section, but other than showing where the mission is and the amount already in the squad the amount of information is quite lacking. It'd be nice as host to be able to set a short description that others can read to then decide if they want to join in or not. This could be done via the chat. "/setgamemessage Currently farming for X...". I would say the message should stay until you either manually clear it or end your game session by logging out. Example I got a resource booster today and I had archweapons to level, so I figured why not do some interception missions, try to farm up some Dual Rounds mods for friends who don't enjoy archwing as much as I do myself, while also leveling my weapons. It'd be grand to be able to tag a message onto my session like "Farming for Dual Rounds, two rot A, rinse repeat", so that friends who might still need it can join and we can help and hang out with each other.
