Can earn min 16+ ranks from now. Wonder how many are still going to complain about not having enough time. 😂

300k from 516k min is more than enough even for casual to reach level 30. If you fail, that's on you and you shouldn't even bother to complain about it.

It's 12 weeks like I said before. Dev team confirmed and made a post too.

From 15 this week to 30 by the end of Nightwave is possible. Yes, it will take some effort but if you want the rewards, go for it. 

You can gain min 16+ ranks from remaining weeks; excluding the refugees spawns.

I thought like you did. For a while.

We have 5 mods with Umbra Polarity. For now. You want to do 50 h of gameplay in missions you would otherwise not play for every application of Umbra forma? Should be fun... Especially considering that the most interesting Frames and melee weapons for that forma are kinda under close observation and may need to be nerfed at some point, so that DE doesnt design themselves into a corner. They made Ember and Tonkor QUITE different because these two were constantly messing with the game balance. Saryn has seen a rework for her rework already, and considering the way she is currently played, she likely will see yet another rework in the future.

And I personally dont look forward to 50 h of gameplay just to get a new Umbra Forma to put on the then-best option just to see it nerfed again, when it turns out that it was indeed the best option. Just consider this: Chroma is already pretty good. With Umbra, it just got even better. You think that distance between regular frames and Chroma is healthy? What CAN DE design that a chroma doesnt oneshot without even noticing? There will be nerfs, to get some balance. Dont think you are done with just grinding for the Umbra Forma once.

But you religiously follow DE. You tell everybody that doesnt agree with you that we dont even deserve rewards.

My reply: If this game wouldnt cater to both you Sibear grinder and the more casual crowd, it wouldnt have become this successful. There should be a place for different kinds of players, not just the ones with high and extreme farming tolerance levels. Im a medium, staying in this game far more than socially acceptable but not giving this game the amount of exclusive attention [DE]Steve would consider good for the game.

The rigid system we have right now (no way to postpone farm, fixed amount of weeks of farm opportunity, no way to discard unwanted quests) will leave a lot of people not quite happy. I dont know if it will be the majority, but I expect DE will closely look into the numbers. And that is pretty much all I have to say to you or the other religious cult members of Sibear: You arent thinking the big picture. And that is no valid base of discussion. You tell me that I only think of myself, but that is ABSOLUTELY not true. I told you: I did farm the stuff. I had the time. There is likely quite a few players that will not be able to do so. Find the empathy setting in that needletip you call "point of view" and try to see this from THEIR perspectives. Imagine how somebody feels that uses the Umbra forma on a nerfed item. Will farming for that stuff if you only did it for that stuff because you REALLY wanted it then still feel worthwile? Will you just shrug and say "well lets just wait for an exclusive event to come up so that I can farm for another 50 hours"? Not likely. More likely, you will feel a bit bitter.

It's actually midnight UTC / GMT (not EST) which is 5:00pm PDT from the post above or 7:00pm EST (8:00pm EDT) for the dailies and Sunday for the weeklies.  You can convert it here to your timezone.

What the ducats is with the sudden massive spike in not difficulty, but complete and utter tedium requiring us to sit around for a straight hour in a single mission,  as much as three times?  (Likely 2, if you have the forethought to do the survivals at once together)

And then not to mention the large amount of work that goes into getting a modular weapon and then gilding it (which isn't even possible if you don't have moderately high standing ranks in the open world factions).   These 60 minute demands of our time aren't feasible for most players.

Were early nightwave tasks this awful?  I've only been around for about the past 4.  They aren't even any more rewarding than past 5k's that were far more enjoyable and well designed.

I've been greatly enjoying doing the nightwave tasks up until now,  I opened nightwave to see the new tasks and was happy and looking forward to going through them all before the week was out,  only to be met with those awful Acts and suddenly playing Warframe sounds more like a chore, a sentiment I had yet to truly feel so far.   For once,  I am not looking forward to this week,  when it would have been the week I should have hit 25 so I've been looking forward to this week all month.   I don't know if I'll do them or not,  it feels like going over to a stranger's house to wash their dishes, instead of going to play your favorite game.

We has no clan... no friends... We is sad tennis.

 

My schedule makes it difficult to play with others on a regular basis, and most people I've seen just in/out/done, so my kill everything and run an hour (or a full reward cycle) in missions doesn't work for all the publics I've been in.  I thought WF was going to be a good game for me with no "required" grouping/time limited content... then they nightwaved it...

I'm sitting at R24 on the nightwave, and from my perspective, I'm not liking Nightwave as it's totally dominating how I'm playing Warframe as I don't have that much time these days, and it's basically log on and do Nightwave missions, rather than whatever I'd like to do.  I'll be glad once I hit R30 and done with it, as I'm close enough to the Umbra Forma and final rewards that I can go back to doing whatever as I'd usually like to do. 

IMO DE should make R20 the last rank with event rewards then give Wolf Credits for ranks 21-30 going from 5, 6, 7, 8, etc, and DE also needs to put in a 1 credit option for oxium, cryotic, kuva, credits, and void traces so players can dump credits on resources and feel like they've cashed out without wasting any wolf credits.

Otherwise, I'm not keen on seeing this being a recurring mechanic in Warframe as it's warping how I'm playing the game a bit too much for my liking.

Totally burned out of nightwave after season 1. Also feels like it has eroded my will to play the game, as I went from intrinsic personal goals to doing bland , repetitive and menial tasks just because you guys force me to do so. I do agree with the sentiment that the best part of nightwave is when you finally reach lvl 30 and can finally stop doing all those menial weekly tasks and actually do the stuff you wanted to do in waframe but coudn't for all these weeks.

I'm probably going to skip season 2 unless you guys change the system so that we get let's say 30 different tasks available per week and we get to choose the ones we want to do. I want to play waframe and do the stuff I enjoy doing. I don't want to spend half my weekly gaming times doing stuff I hate doing and that I didn't need to do in the first place.

I like the idea of seasonal rewards. I don't mind having weekly tasks to complete, but I want to be able to choose my tasks and pick ones that fit with what I enjoy doing.
