That stays the same all the way to the end of this series. The Offerings are for mundane old Alerts rewards; they rotate weekly, save for aforementioned exceptions. Unless something changes, Nightwave is intended to be the permanent replacement to the Alerts system. Personally, I hope they just improve it. It's far from perfect, but good riddance to the Alerts.
